I'm still in review as of 10:00 am. He said they needed an admission date so I said the 18th. Hopefully that will light a fire under them. Crystal seemed to think it would only take 72 hours but it's been longer. I'm going to call again this afternoon.

Thanks Candace. I have to say I'm really bumming right now. I really want it on the 18th at this point. If it goes much later I'll have a mess with all my appointments in March. I'll have to rebook them and I'm already pretty full for April so means I'll be booking May soon. My schedule is crazy so I had a window in February to do this.

I know. This is a bummer. Crystal seemed to think 72 hours too. They say it can take up to 14 days! I'm calling again later today. I have to get my taxes done at 2 pm and will call when I get back to work.

Anthem approved me in 48 hours - this is really bad. Call and ask them WHEN it will be done. Ask to speak to a supervisor or something. This is SO not ok!

I'm getting pissed. Just called again and still no information. It's still in review and probably won't have an answer today. They have a tentative surgery date of the 18th so she said it shouldn't take much longer. I said I'd call again Monday. I'll give til Monday and if no answer I'm going to lose it.

I agree - KEEP CALLING!!! They did mine so much more quickly. I don't know what the hold up is. They never asked me what my date was either ... so I don't know what THAT is all about!! KEEP BUGGING THEM! That's what I did .... I think I made them afraid to deny me! LOL
