Last meal?

I was wondering if you guys had a last meal, or treat---what did you have?  I have been so busy with work (since such short notice before surgery) that I haven't even eaten off my diet yet!  I was just thinking this morning---holy crap---today and tomorrow are my last days.  Saturday I start my clear liquids only.  Not that I want to go over board (I have no time to and NOTHING in the house that has more fat or sugar than we can have after. So... 1.  Did you have a last meal? 2.  What did you have? 3.  Was it something you knew you would basically be able to never have again? For example....If I had to pick a meal it would be mexican.  But a lot of what I would get I can have after--minus a flour tortilla etc.  So why would I pick that now?   I have been sitting here (not getting any work done) trying to think of something to get tonight or tomorrow night and I can't come up with anything, or nothing sounds extra good to me.   Maybe I really have come to terms with this and I am just not interested.  I'm all set on pizza or chips, not into chinese to begin with.  I better start thinking of somthing. Question:  Can we have sugar free ice cream or frozen yogurt ever?  I LOVE ice cream.  Was wondering if I will ver be able to have one with the kids when they are old enough to go out for a kiddie cone.

This is what I think Tanya, I would take a big bite from each of those twins cheeks, they are soooo cute.  You need to add some pictures so we can see you shrink and them grow.  Good luck this weekend.

I am going to take some this weekend.  I am a hider when the camera comes out....so all the pics I have are usually in the summer after I went on my yearly spring diet and lost 40 pounds---what a horrible cycle. We just were putting pics in an album (finally ordered some from the gazillion sitting on my compuet) and there are tons of my husband with the babies---and none of me.  How sad that there are no pictures of me with the babies for the first 8 months of their lives!  I have one pic when I am prego, one that someone must have snuck in the hospital, and like 2 from the summer.  That's it. I will be so glad when I will be in family pictures again and can wear my wedding ring again.  Haven't had that on since around august 2006. I made both my husband and my mom promise not to let me dress like a hoochie after I lose some weight lol!  I get down to 195-200 and think I look good and out come the short skirts for the summer.  Hello, I am almost 35---I shouldn't be wearing them in the first place.

hey, girl, I know where you're coming from I went without a wedding ring or my beautiufl diamond for about 10years, husband finally went and had them fixed, and said he loves me the way I am and the rings are mine to wear, no matter what.  and on the hoochie front, haha, there is a fine line between looking good, respectful, sexy and Hoochie.  sounds like you have people you trust who will keep you in line, I think if your aware of what hoochie is you won't do it.   a little clevedge  dont hurt.  I hate bellies showing, unless they are flat and on a 16 year old.  my neighbor gave me a xmas gift last year of me in a bathing suit all framed nice.  isn't that nice of her??? I shortly put a new picture in it.

I had a big ole' steak, but guess what?!  I can eat it with no problem!! Yay!  I love my RNY!  I can have mexican (no bread or spanish rice**** cream (sugar free of course)  I don't feel deprived at all!  It really isn't the end of all that good food. It is just in really really small portions.

I didn't do the "last meal" - mostly because I don't think that I'm not going to be able to ever have a certain something forever - just be much less, much less often, if that makes sense. Like for example - pizza - my all-time favorite food - I'm sure that I'll have again, maybe mostly in better for you forms than what I was getting from my local convenience store - but even that I'm sure at some time I will have a slice - not the whole pie, but a slice.

I just figured anything over 5 grams of fat or 5 grams of sugar I woud never be able to have.  Which owould mean pizza, anything fried etc.  Some people can have it---but I know I will probably be the 1 person that dumps on anything and I just don't want to dump.

My last meal wasn't a "never again" meal, but it was definetly "not this MUCH again" meal.  I had Lobster (ok, I had 3 lobsters.) With corn on the cob (2 of those) and a HUGE baked potato with enough butter to sink the titanic...and sour cream of course.  I LOVED EVERY BITE OF IT!!! And now it would take me at least 4 meals to eat all that, maybe 4 or 6 meals...wow did I do the right thing having surgery...a few more meals like that and I would have been ineligible for a band...geez! Enjoy it, no guilt, one last time!!! that was my motto... wishing you luck and sending love!

My husband took me to Mac's Grill in Auburn for steak and wine.  I'm so glad I did because I can't eat steak now!!  The wine, well I can and it tastes so good once a week!!  Girls at work also bought me chinese cause we used to get it once a month for staff meeting days.  I think I also had fried clams and pizza the week before.  Sounds like I over did it doesn't it.  My surgery was the day after Easter so I didn't get to enjoy Easter dinner at all ~ I was doing clear liquid bowel cleaning that day Oh so worth it though!!!!
