I know some of you had some samples (if I remember correctly) of the unjury chicken soup.  I was wondering what you thought of it.  I am placing an order today for a few things to have on hand (just ni case) and wanted to see if any of you have tried it.  I did try a strawberry sorbet one that Kathi sent me and it was ok.  Never tried a protein that wasn't sweet---so curious.

I have - the flavor is good, I just found it to be very salty tasting. I'm using it because of exactly what you say - they are all sweet......and I'm about to start my 4th week with the liquid sweetness crap....anyway I would recommend it - it's also good to add to soups.

I just got the low fat  low sodium chicken and beet broth and added non fat dried milk to it for extra protein. It was like a cream soup without the thickness. All the special things I got for my early days out I despised lol so I'm just doing my own thing within nut guidelines of course.

I'm sure I will have some stuff I hate too.  I just figure my tastebuds will change---I may end up liking it now or later---and I can always give it to my mom.  And I have no problems with it getting used by my husband!  I have to hide the stuff now as it is.  I totally caught him sneaking some of my whey gourmet mint chip the other day---he looked like a kid in the candy jar!  He is convinced he needs it for the gym.

Also, tanya, is your mom going with RNY also? I can't seem to find anyone who has had lap band with Loggins that comes here.

She is doing RNY.  As for the unflavored I got Any Whey from GNC.  I have tried it out (since I had so long pre-op) in pancakes, cornbread, pudding and hot drinks.  It wasn't the greatest in the hot drinks, but I didn't even know it was in the other stuff.  Not that I anticipate eating pancakes and cornbread after surgery---but I wanted to see how it baked since it is optimized for it.

Tanya I get unjury chicken soup and I really like it, I put 2 scoops in 20 oz's of water and it is just fine.. I have allthewhey protein also but really like the unjury better. it mixes up better but hte allthewhey is 25grams instead of 20 grams of protein for each scoop. I am really glad i can drink protein drinks now everything is so much better
