My YouTube Vlog
Yikes...well, who knows whether or not this was a smart thing to do, but I am making a video diary to chronicle my weight loss journey. It is pretty scary since I have done this in writing so many times and then abandoned it. This is pretty public and a whole new way of putting myself out there. I don't know. I may make it private on YouTube and embed it into private blog. Haven't decided. Your comments and advice are welcome. In the meantime, if you copy and paste this into your browser address bar, you should be able to watch my Vlog and get to know me a bit better. Not sure how long I will leave it up there, so if you are interested...now is the time (LOL). By the way...all my user names are colliding. Here I am known as BlackFlyBites. On YouTube, I am MoodyBlueEyes, and in real life I am Terri. Maybe I better stick with one, huh?
Have a great day and please let me know what you think. Is this a good idea or not? Anyone else want to do it with me?

Terri,
I jus****ched your VBlog and I think it's GREAT!! You did a wonderful job. I think it's a excellent idea and something you should continue to do. I wish I had done something like that to compare my self to now when I have one of my "fat" days.
If you decide to make it private or not that is your choice, but if you do keep it public you will be helping people. I know before I had WLS I went to my support group meetings and the post ops helped me so much. Their stories and successes and even their failures have helped me get to where I am today. Also the support I get from this site even if I don't post and just read what others like me have asked, I get great feedback and I didn't even have to ask the question. I try to go to as many WLS support groups as I can so that I can now give back to people the same help I received before my journey started.
Your ups and downs on your WLS journey will help others going through the same things, If you talk about something you did and it didn't work well for you, you may stop someone else from trying it or if something works great for you it gives others ideas to try, that they may not have thought of on their own.
Watching your VBlog brought back memories for me of myself just 2 years ago. You are in the same place I was. Just know that it gets better. WLS was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I'm so healthy now and physically I can do SO much more. Exercise does get easier when you lose the weight, it's the motivation thats still hard sometimes. lol Exercise helped me ALOT during my journey losing the weight and once I learn to maintain instead of lose, I plan on keeping it up. There are so many fun things to do that are exercising and you don't even realize it. I want to learn to belly dance now, I just got to find a place that teaches it.
When I was heavy I thought in order to lose weight, I had to go to the gym everyday and had to run (I hate running) well now I'm thin and I never ran once lol and I didn't go to the gym everyday (I went 2-3 times a week). Just walking or swimming helps so much.
Thank you for sharing your VBlog. I look forward to watching your progress.
