January exercise Challenge/done

Let me first tell you "I hate exercise" BUT !  I joined the January exercise Challenge of 1000 minutes and I did it!  met it today.  So tomorrow I move on to Feb. and plan on getting my 1000 mins. again.  I'll loose this jiggle butt one day.  What do you all enjoy  for exercise???  wouldn't it be fun to all get together once a month and do something like a hike, or hire someone to do a hula or belly dancing class. just us WLS gilrs.... we should start a club and plan an outing monthly. with (exercise) in mind.

Oh that sounds good.. I love the idea of getting together once a month for something like that.. I love hiking. Especially scenic hikes.. This time of year if not to cold I love snowshoeing and cross country skiing.. Actually I got out on my snowshoes today with my son he keeps right up with me lol. I am not really a traditional gym person but my daughter and I want to take tennis lessons this year.. something we can do together.. Not sure where we will find those lessons ??? Any ideas?

no, not off hand, but my neighbor takes classes and also has a dvd. my husband and I are not dancers, have NOOOOO rhythum (can't spell either).  but we plan on taking a cruise in 2009 and are going to take some ball room dance lessons and surprise all our friends, I think it will be fun.  If the teacher don't shoot us first. haha.... I love scenic walks too, have you ever been to Fort Williams?

oh, one more idea, we could plan an water arobics class at the ywca, "cover charge"??? or rent bikes or roller blades, go roller skating, bowling, I would love having every one over here, I live on Lake, go for a walk, then have a low calorie recipe contest for lunch??? then a swim??? the possibitlities are just endless, hehe

Keep the ideas rolling. It will be so much fun.. I love being outside especially when It is warm.... OHHH you know what would be cool not sure whats involved in it but. The walk for life  they do every year for cancer .. I think that would be a good cause.. What do you think???

Absolutely, yes, even some marathons that are 3 miles, we could walk as a group, come up with a name too.. hehehe.

After you make your ticker you there is a place on the place where you copy it from that you can choose large or small..
