Ok Tanya, I'm going nuts waiting for your approval. LOL. Any word yet?

Nothing yet.  It was just submitted yesterday morning, so I don't expect anything until next week.  I did call prior to ask how long an approval took and the lady said "I think about 10 business days."  I sure hope not.  I know Kathi has the same insurance as me and hers took 72 hours.    I will post probably 5 minutes after I find out----I can hradly wait. Tuesday is coming right up!  You will be right there too!

If all goes well my bloodwork should be back and faxed by Monday. Awfully close I know! Once they submit me my insurance only takes 72 hours to approve. So, we may still be together! I hope so. I'm in Canada next week so will pop on in the evening to check in. I'll let everyone know Monday night what I've heard. I'm calling the hospital lab Monday morning to light a fire.

Well I sure am hoping mine doesn't take ten days!  Geesh.  Have fun in Canada---and definitely let us know if you are being presented on Tuesday.  It's finally our turn girl!

Annoyed!  I just called to check in again and they still haven't even looked at it!   Uuugggghhhh. This lady said it should take about 3 business days---um hello, it has already been 5.  I am so impatient!

CRAP!!! Keep on them. Can you get someone's name you can call daily? Can you ask why they haven't reveiwed you yet? 5 days!!!??? That's not acceptable!

I wonder if mine has gone to insurance yet?

Still nothing.  I am so annoyed---they must have me over at the insurance place since I have called every day.  Basically since there is no scheduled surgery date mine is not a priority.  They started doing things different where the ones that come in with a date within a week get put on the top.  The ones within 2 weeks are next, then the rest.  So every day new ones are coming in so they are within a week of the new date.  so mine has been just sitting there while all these others jump the line. For the past 3 days the people that have answereed the phone have sent an email to the reviewer noting someone called to check the status.  The girl today felt so bad it has been a week already.  She sent off a note that if possible the surgery could be in a week (which is not the case obviously).  I was like---they would never schedule a surgery so soon, and she was like...no...this will get her to look at it faster.  So we shall see. OMG if I get denied I will just die.  Imagine how long it would take to go through the appeals process with them....arrggghhhhh.

You know once I got approval from ins co I got my date like 8 days from ins approval.. It happens fast once you have that approval.. What did Crystal say about the time frame?? If you should have had your approval by now maybe there is something she can do to help?? Just a thought. Keep your chin up.

She said like 2 weeks from approval.  I am gonna try tomorrow, if still nothing I will see if she can call.  I have called so many times Iyou would think they would look at it to get rid of me ha ha

Just called again---still nothing.  Supposedly the lady is on lunch.  They are supposed to ask her where mine is in the process (AKA Pile).  I asked if they could call me back either way and she said she would pass that along.  I'm pretty sure they won't call.  I asked if it would help speed things up if I had the doctor's office call and she said no.
