Is there such a thing as a restaurant guide?

I have eaten out and usually order a sandwich but just eat the contents.  What drives most waitresses nuts is I don't want a drink...even water.  I don't usually say I have had the surgery so they think I'm weird.  Kinda funny.  I made the MAJOR mistake of ordering a honey mustard sauce with a chicken sandwich at the 99 and when Christmas shopping ended up in the restroom for about 45 minutes dumping.  My poor husband...we communicated by text message.  I'm excited and nervous as DH and I are going to Mac's Grill in Auburn for lunch on Valentine's Day and I LOVE steak but can't eat it since surgery.  I've never eaten anything but there.  Hoping their chicken or fish is just as good as their steak!!!!
