Case review postponed

I am so bummed right now. My case won't be reviewed until next week. Crystal called to tell me they were missing 3 blood tests and need all the information before they will review my case and release me to insurance. Looks like it will be next Tuesday instead! UGH!!!!!

I've called my PCP and they are looking for the missing information. Crystal said it looks like one of the items never got drawn so I may have to run to the lab and get more drawn. I know better safe than sorry but I really have my panties in a bunch over this!

Everything happens for a reason. I'm just bummed out right now. Think I'll take a walk and crank my walking tunes.

Hopefully next week I'll have better news.

when you call do you ask to speak to crystal or just ask who answers the phone?  I need to call, havn't received the information from my insurance for the requirements and I"ve called 2 times. 

Last Wednesday I spoke with Crystal and she assured me there was only 3 things missing. I had those reports faxed over Thursday. Today I get a message that there are 3 more things missing. UGH! I know things happen for a reason so am trying to take it with a grain of salt but it's very hard. I know it will still happen and hopefully before the end of February. For some reason I really had my heart set on Feb. 11. Oh well, s**t happens!

You could still get that Feb 11.. Hope it goes real quick. Sounds to me like Dr Loggins has cleared you just need those things to submit ti ins co... Happened to me too one year of weight records got overlooked so I needed to get on my pcps offices case lol..

That is such a bummer----I truly mean it.  I am in exactly the same spot in the process and I can imagine how that would feel.  I kow it's only one week---but we have been so excited for this day.  I haven't heard anything at all---I wonder if that is good or bad?

I just called Chrystal and she said she has everything she needs.  Hope that is right and dont' wait till the last min. to claim she don't,  I feel for you, that is a bummer for sure.  Wish I was done with my 10% loss.

mamag, don't worry so much about the 10% loss. what corinne really wants from us is a good understanding of what we can an cannot have and our exercise habits. she cleared me at 14 pounds lost and they wanted 23. don't sweat it. just journal journal journal.

i'm having more blood drawn this afternoon. i will definately be ready next week. everything happens for a reason. i also found out today my grandmother has terminal uterine cancer. we knew she had cancer but didn't know how severe. it's a matter of time now so maybe this is best if postponed a week or so. she has already told me not to change a thing and do whatever i would normally do. she is an amazing woman and has had an incredible 87 years. when i grow up i want to be just like her.

Oh, that is a bummer!  But don't worry it will happen!  My doctor never put in my initial referral letter, so I waited for 3 months for absolutely nothing! Oh I was so angry!   I am also sorry about your grandmother.  She sounds like a very strong woman!  I will think good thoughts for you both!
