Summer gathering

well, I really live on the outskirts of Portland.   So not exactly city driving.  I live right off of Rte 202 if anyone is familiar with that Rte?  But thinking now, maybe we could plan on something at maybe Sebago Lake State park or somewhere where there is a beach? Sound like a plan?  I am looking forward to Summer again, can you tell!!  I am sick of Winter and Snow!!

Hello All,  I am a fairly new member---but it's been a while since I've posted due to computer problems so I was missing for about two months I'd guess. Anyway, my friend Anne "Leprechaun" had weight loss surgery and is going great and I am now considering it. I'd love to "meet n greet" with you all this summer. Hey Ladies,  I am in Lewiston but, as Anne "Leprechaun" mentioned, I can travel with her so that's no problem!   IF indeed folks want to do an overnighter, another option might be Old Orchard Beach. I've stayed there before with my partner and have found The Sea Drift or Normandy Motor Inn to be the best of the 3 places we have stayed. Certainly not high class by any means--rooms are pretty basic but it's right there on the ocean and fairly inexpensive in terms of room cost. Many of the hotels also have an outdoor pool as well.   Anyway, I'll keep checking back to see what everyone decides! Take care, Lori

Getting together with all of you...meeting you...sharing experiences.  It sounds wonderful.  However I live too far from Portland.  Sorry.
