Carbs under a certain amount??

I track protein, fluid and sugar (in that order). I initially tracked just my fluid and protein but I quickly found out I couldn't tolerate more than 8 grams of sugar per serving so now I watch that very closely. The carb's will be low if you follow the under 5g rule for sugar and fat. I still don't count calories on a regular basis ~ maybe once a month to make sure I'm still within reason, haven't had a day over 700 yet.
Good luck...it's a constant learning curve.
I just keep track of the water and protein in my head that is all I do...I tried a oreo cookie the other day and oh my i ate it with no problem,..that is a problem i told me son and Hubby you want stuff like that keep it out of sight. Iknow i should have more will power but out of sight out of mind and they are doing very well. my son 19 so it not like its a big deal.i keep sf jello and fruit in my refig...i never thought I would be a fruit buyer..I go monday for my 6 month check up, Had my labs done now we will see where my weight is I not going to weigh until then see how I make out..
