Not so discouraged anymore!!

I've been so discouraged lately. I've only lost 1 pound since 12/23. So I figured I would measure myself instead. The last time I measured was at 201 pounds and I'm now 189 and holding. During that 12 pound loss I lost 15 3/4 inches!! I was amazed it was so much.   When I started this whole process I was 264 lbs and I didn't start measuring until I was 237. But from 237 to 189 I've lost 42 1/2 inches. I can't believe that's a total of 42 1/2 inches gone from my body!!!!!  I really wish I started measuring from the beginning.   Have a great day and I hope you can make sense of all these numbers :) Cheryl

That is amazing. Strange how our bodies don't lose weight but will lose inches. You must feel awesome! I did measure and weigh and took before pictures. I really buckled down in October and have lost 14 pounds and 11 1/2 inches since then. I am still preop and would love to lose the last 9 pounds before surgery. That would meed my Dr.'s goal.

Obviously you are doing great and keep it up. You'll be at goal before you know it. I'm very proud of you and thanks for inspiring us.

I was dumb and never measured. BUT even though my weight loss has slowed way down now I am still going down in clothes sizes. It is funny how it all keeps changing.

congradulations.. I did do my messurments before surgery bu have not done it in a while i guess i better check mine because im not losing. keep up the great work...YIPPIE Barb
