I am getting ready to start looking for a blender/processer.  I need it to be able to make shakes as well as puree food for after my surgery.  One person mentioned that the Magic Bullet is the best blender to get.  I was wondering if anyone here had any experince and what others are using for these purposes.

My sister bought me a ( bella kitchen) from Kohl's for my birthday. It is just like the Magic Bullet but doesn't cost as much. It works great !! My son loves it when I make him strawberry smoothies. Linda

My son got a magic bullet for a wedding gift.  He told me they used it approx 5 times a week to make smoothies and in a months time the motor went in it.  Meanwhile I've had my Black and Decker Crush Master for many years and it runs just like new.   I prefer a full sized blender so I can make smoothies for 2 of us at once...no problem.  And I remember paying only $15 for my sturdy blender...it was onsale and had a rebate!

I havent found a need for a blender, although I am sure I could find uses for one at times if I had one.  I mix my proteins up in a glass and havent had to puree anything since surgery. Hope others can help you.
