And the time is???

The time on all my posts (and everything else on this site) is 3 hours off.  I've looked and looked for a way to change it to Eastern time but I just cannot figure out where to do it.  Can anyone help me out?

I suspect that the time is off to us because the time is kept by the server that hosts this website.

So it isn't changeable?  Oh crap. I have belonged to other forums (for other subjects) and it was always changable.  Much like how you change it on your email. This forum is a bit behind in several tech ways.  This is the only one I've belonged to that when I log on the threads I haven't read are highlighted until I read them.  Oooh isn't that nice. But then again my other forums are for taking care of my flowers and plants...not for taking care of me.
