numbness
Hello!! Haven't been on for a while. well I am down 97 pounds since surgery and feel pretty good except for the "loss of feeling" in places. Started with my abdominal area and went south from there, I now have no feeling in my legs,,,,,,,,,well I wouldn't say that exactly, it just feels like they are "asleep" like when your foot falls asleep. Have had alot of labs done in the past 6 weeks, and my PCP is sending me for a brain MRI to rule out MS . To tell youi the truth, I am a little scared. This is not a result of the surgery, just something that would have happened anyways. Trying to stay positive.
Hi Maryellen,
I am sorry to hear of your loss of feeling. That must be weird. I do have to say that my arms fall asleep a lot. Coincidentally since my surgery, but I too am sure it isn't related. Keep us posted!!
Take care and congrats on your weightloss!! And remember that staying positive is the KEY!
Ok, that is weird. I didn't think much about it until now. Maybe I will post something on the RNY board and see if anyone else has this problem. I also have weird skin boils. They come and go, get them mostly on my inner thighs, had one on my breast, back and a few on my pannus. Dr gave me an antibiotic and they seem to be disappearing. Hoping documented enough to get insurance to pay for plastic surgery. If they keep coming back, that is.
Hi, I am a 44 yr old and I am down 109 pounds since surgery 4/23/07 and for 2 month I have had to use a cane to keep from falling and my legs are numb and I have constant leg cramps that wake me every night several times a night. I can not move my feet upward and have to fight to put shoes on cause my toes try to fold under, I have an appointment with neurologist on the 18th of the month hope and pray they find the cause of this issue.
