isopure mango peach Liquid diet of champions..

HI everyone preop is done,  liquid diets going awesome, why oh why couldnt I of done this my entire life, I can drive without coffee now and I can live without food,  and sugar!       I really like isopure  mango peach protein  its a clear protein so I use it in water, divide it up as the serving is 2 scoops for 50 grams, I use 1 scoop twice a day  in water and its not soo thick its  just like flavored water,  My meal is skim milk with sugar free instant breakfast choc flavored, heat it up like hot choc.    or broth,  the protein in skim is adding up with the isopure to meet and exceed all protein and keep me   s a t i s  f  i  e  d              what a pleasant word..   the secret to success..              I have tons of energy havent missed  going to the gym at all.  Feeling thinner already..  I had lost 7 more pounds since final consult until I drank that barium pudding   now I gained 3 pounds back, well when that pudding and the pipe back up let go it will really be a scale moving experience.. hehe          I'm doing awesome and NO one fear that liquid diet because you can do it..  I only have 4 nights to go. now. the journey is a great one hang one its a wild ride and worth every bit that you have to go thru..to get healthy it is all worth it..best thing i have ever done for myself. I have always taken care of everyone now it time for me..

Hi Allicca, I am glad your Pre-op diet is going well!  I had no problems as well. I was really pleased at how I was able to stick to it.  I think it was knowing the end result, and I was soooo ready for the surgery.  The morning of surgery, I was so calm and not nervous at all. I knew I was making the best decision for my health and myself. 

Good for you for hanging in there with the liquid diet. I, too, felt like I could have done it forever...until I had to do it after surgery...lol. I was really craving something to chew. I didn't necssarily want to eat, just wanted to chew!!! You will do great, I hope the weather holds for you on Monday!

Thanks guys!  ya weather  looks like Monday Wednesday and Thursday stuff going on,  just go early and take our time both ways..        Can never have enough prayers for  this process and this time of year, My family is starting with well a bit overwhelmed, as I am miss complications and I cant help feeling a bit selfish at this risk. Given my history of  outcomes after each surgery. But this one is different ! God Speed. I like that..        I purchsed the isopure at GNC  in the mall,  they had it on sale until nov. 28th  but if you get a gnc card for 15.00  - the first 7 days of every month you get 20% off  everything for those first 7 days every month, so it pays for itself with just one purchase,    some of the rite aids have gnc items too,the one in auburn does  going towards Dennys . My daughter  lives close by there and picks up stuff for me. Plus her body building boyfriend  had the card and told me all about it, its quite a good deal..        Remember I  dont use 2 scoops at a time I use one  each scoop is 25 grams of protein and I mix 1 scoop with 16oz of water and its just like flavored water, If you follow the directions 2 scoops is a bit thick.. dont care for that. I mix up two a day and that gives me 50 grams right there..  then the skim milk  8 grams   intstant brk has 5 so  its all good. perhaps thats why I feel good.. all the protein and energy..        no sugar added  carnation instant brk    Walmart..     I also love low cal no sugar added hot chocolate  from walmart only 88.cents   and   its soo good, I dont think I'm supposed to have it good. heeh   I'm sure it may have a bit of caffeine from the chocolate but these  cold days  I dont really care for salty tasting broth now, maybe after, surgery.. I like  a warm cup of skim milk with an instant brk and fill in with isopure.  and I'm doing well. with that combo. Merry Christmas to all  3 more days Allicca
