Well, Dr. Loggins and Corinne gave me a great report! Dr. Loggins hugged me, which was so sweet! They are very pleased with my weightloss to date. I've lost 48 percent of my excess body weight and dropped almost 10 BMI points! My cholesterol was also WAY improved - from a really high level to being within the NORMAL RANGE! HOLY COW! Those cholesterol meds are GONE FOR GOOD! My incisions are completely healed and it sounds like things are going really well!  I don't have to go bac****il 6 months post-op. Not until the end of March!

See you are doing great!  I know it is hard though, when people are losing faster than you.  Also depends on how much you have to lose to begin with.  I have/had 200 lbs to lose, so I think for me it is going to come off faster than someone who has say 100-150 lbs to lose.

Congratulations on such good news!   You're right when you mention that people do lose at different rates and it's due to body composition and general make-up. Whether you lose a pound ...or quite a few pounds, it's the losing that's important and the fact that you are adapting to a brand new life style. With each passing day and each pound lost, you regain a bit of your life that you were so sure was gone forever. You're doing things right ! Keep it up and have a WONDERFUL holiday!
