I'm Dang Hungry!
Ok, need your help! I am finding I am starved around 3 hours after a meal. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I can try? On the regular message board someone told someone else to drink coffee, but what does that do? I havent been measuring my food lately-just eyeballing it; could that have something to do with it? I also eat just my mail meals and don't snack. I do often forget my vitamins but am trying hard to remember them but that wouldnt have anything to do with it would it? This is driving me nuts; as I didn't get this surgery so I could be hungry all the time. I am 9 wks out and have lost 52 pounds, maybe I am not eatting enough where I havent been measuring or is this an average weight loss for 9 wks? Please any advice would be greatful. Netti
Damn girl! That's a lot for 9 weeks (I think!) I had surgery 4 days after you and I've lost 39 in that time period! So, you're way ahead of me!
It sounds like you're eating a lot less that I am though. I'm measuring NOTHING. I just put whatever on my plate and eat until just before full. I also snack. I go for 3 meals and two snacks a day - what my NUT reccomends.
I'm also not good about remembering to take my vitamins either - don't worry about it! You're not the only one!
I'd try eating more. I do get hungry too - I'm actually sitting her REALLY wanting to eat something. BUT, I'm headed to bed after answering your post ... so I can't justify it in my head! A swig of crystal light and that's it!
I say, keep up the great work, hun! You're losing at a much faster rate than my current 3 pounds a week average!
I thought that it was a little more than I should be losing too Summer. I weighed myself again this morning and another pound gone and still hungry! (lol) Craig (my honey) said I should measure everything from now on, so I don't know. I think I might try eatting more cause this hunger is driving me nuts. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.
I also get really hungry sometimes, particularly in the evenings. I drink milk when I get hungry, something my nut. suggested.. I absolutely love milk and can still tolerate it and it gives you that full feeling plus helps get in some calcium and other vitamins. I would suggest you try that if you can still drink it.
I also do snacking, I keep some low fat cheese around and other things I know I can have.
