I have a new SURGERY DATE DEC 10th

OK here I go again peeps..  I just got the new call, and ready to go Dec. 10th at Maine General Augusta. Any one else? I just ate my last meal again..  I will have my greenfield filter put into my vein the morning of then go to surgery after, I stop my blood thinner in two days and start my lovenox injections every 12 hours.  I am enjoying all my cards coming in , I got 3 today!         phewwww... this is a major rush..  a rollar coaster, as I was this excited last wednesday ..  I have  pre op labs, and x rays tuesday dec 4th and  a anesethia  session friday morning  Dec 7th  at 7.30 am wich is soo good for me, I can still get back to open my shop at 10.00 Lord willing hehe             and away we goo..      My liquid diet starts immediantly and I can have skim milk with my protein shakes and decaf coffee. IT COULD be worse much worse hehe I am embracing this week, but will need extra by the end of next week hee.                  Scented Blessings everyone! and the shakes begun.. the stockings were hung..                                                       Allicca physical268/1st consult 260/final consult preop240/  hoping for a good 10 on liquid diet..

SOOO not fun - but I'm not that great with needles! It's so worth it and so necessary though! You're on your way woman! I"ll save you a seat on the loser's bench! (It's comfy that you'll ever believe! LOL)

Wow surgery at the holidays. well a new year will really be a new and exciting year !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for the "extra" in the card.

Congrats! What is the greenfield filter? I never had to have anything done before hand except labs. Keep us posted.

Allica, That is great news!  If I had a greenfield filter, I didn't know it.  What does that do?  Also they just gave me 2 blood thinner injections right before and right after, I didn't have to do them myself. I can't get over how surgeons ways differ so much.   I am also enjoying getting the cards!!  It is so cool!
