WOW! First WOW monent!

I can't believe an experience that I had this afternoon! It's my first WOW moment, for sure! Background information - I work for a semi-large school district and work in 4 different school buildings. This is my fourth year in the district! I frequently stop by to chat with my buddy Sheli (yes, our very own "Sheli" from the Maine board! ) who also works in the same school district. Ok. Sheli and I were chatting about our recent losses and some interesting posts that we had seen on one of the OH boards. We were both saying how glad that we  had prepared ourselves for surgery and had realistic post-op expectations. A classroom teacher was also in the room working with some students and she stated she "didn't know who I was" but that Sheli looked fabulous!   WHAT???????????????????? I've worked with this woman for FOUR YEARS!!!!!!! She didn't even RECOGNIZE ME! HOLY COW! How is that possible??? I've worked with her for four years, have been in and out of her classroom (though not since surgery) and she even made the jewelry that I wore to my wedding, for pete's sake! If Sheli hadn't been there, to give me a back up confirmation that YES, that was what she said!, I wouldn't believe it! Talk about a WOW moment!!!!! Just had to share!!!

Summer, I love the WOW moments some are even WOW WOW. I like the not recognizing me thing. Sometimes it comes in handy if you don't want them to know you!!!! LOL

Summer, that was the most amazing moment!!! I feel like it was such a gift to be there and to see your face!!! What a joy!!!

She was serious too!!! That was great! Now you can't tell me that you are not showing a loss yet...it shows girl!!!
