How's everyone doing??
Just wanted to check and see how everyone is doing. Hopefully losing tons of weight.
I've been so busy lately and haven't had time to check in. As far as myself, I've lost 67 lbs so far (total from initial consult) and now weight 197!!! So I am officially under 200lbs!!! I'm still struggling to get all the protein in but my labs came back great, the only thing was my magnesium was low but Dr. Loggins said my protein levels were perfect.
My goal was to be 185 lbs before January 1st, hopefully I can make it. What are your goals weight-wise or other?
Cheryl
Wow your doing great! I am only 10 days behind you and I have only lost 48 as far as I know. What is your secret lol... I haven't set any goals except my goal weight of 130. My last check up was good; the dietician said I was above average but now hearing your weight loss I am not convinced lol. I know, I know, everyone loses at different levels but when your not doing as good as others you just dont want to hear that. I too am struggling big time with protein and for some reason with water lately too. If I had to make a goal it would be to be below 200 by Christmas when my daughter comes up. (she hasn't seen me yet lol). Take care and keep up the great work!

Hi Cheryl!
I'm glad to hear that you're doing so well! How thrilling! That's just super!
I'm now down 56 pounds (since my initial consult) and fiting into a pair of size 20 jeans!
I was in 26 at my initial consult! Dress pants are still 22s but they're getting baggy too! I go back for my 2 month follow up on Friday so we'll see what they say about my losing 37 pounds (as of today) since surgery. Does that sound about right? I get so fed up with people who lose so much faster than I do! I'm going to avoid the main board for a while I think!!!

That weight loss sounds right, I think I was around 40 at my 2 month appt. I go this Friday to see Corrine because she wasn't there at my 2 month checkup. I actually gained a pound this week!!
but we ended having thankgiving twice at different families. I didn't eat to much just picking. Hopefully I lose it this week.
Keep up the good work,
Cheryl

We both get to see Corinne on Friday! :)
Don't worry about the pound. It'll be gone by then. It's just poop or fluid retention from all the salty (but yummy) turkey day food! I grazed too ... and had a slice of SF apple pie that my mom bought. I didn't want it, but felt bad that she spent like 6 bucks on a pie special for me. I ate it - it was actually quite yummy, but when I looked at the box that she sent home with me I saw that that slice was 260 calories!!!!
Yikes!!!!
Glad to know my loss is on track with yours. That makes me feel better!
Keep up the good work too!
