Was wondering if someone could tell me how you use the Profect. I see it comes in a vial. Do you use the whole vial?  Seems expensive if you do.  Was thinking of trying it as protein intake isn't where it should be everyday. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I love the Profect!!  It is worth $2.44 a vial to me.  I used to spend triple that at McDonalds everyday     Make sure you use coupon code PR15 to get a 15% discount.  I get a case of 24 in the Variety Pak #2 .  #2 is better than Pak #1 in flavors.  You drink the whole vial as it is 25g of protein.  I usually drink one a day..

Hi Barb, I do order from Revival Soy but not the protein Drinks. I get the protein Chips there. I love them!  Salt & Vinegar is my fave!!!  I have a couple samples that they sent me of the drinks but I haven't tried them yet.  I drink strictly Profect or ids whey liquid.  I also order some called isopure but I don't like them.  They have a weird aftertaste each time that you take a drink.  Somehow, I have to choke down 10 more bottles of them.

Okay---so where do you guys hear about these things!  I have my first nutrition class tomorrow---officially starting my journey now.  But I have been looking into what I will need for protein etc.  I never have anything on my Christmas list---so I thought maybe I could add some protein things for after the surgery.  25g in 3 ounces seems perfect.  Is it thick tasting (profect)?  I know that sounds funny.  Do you just plain drink it or mix with something?  Just one a day?

Both the Profect and the IDS Whey have little ads right on this website.  If you look to the left of your screen, I see the one for profect right now, in fact.  The IDS whey I discovered when I ordered a sampler protein pack from bariatriceating.com, also advertised sometimes on this website.  I just drink them right out of the vial. But if you prefer you can drink over ice in a glass. I like the fact that I can grab one and go. I usually have one a day, sometimes two if I haven't gotten all my protein for the day with regular foods. I don't think it is thick tasting at all.  Maybe just a little sour tasting. My next one will be to try the proteinex, this one looks like it is in a cough syrup bottle and you get 18 grams in just 2 tablespoons. OH.com has a post regarding it on the RNY forum. Right at the top.

Oh sorry, yes.  GNC sells the IDS Whey bullets.   I have tried them, but I buy them directly from the company and not GNC www.idssports.com but it looks like it is cheaper to buy on GNC if you are a Gold Club member..  I like the Profect better in flavor, the IDS are a little sour tasting.  GNC also has one of their own, it is 18 grams of protein and you just need 3 tablespoons, it is $23.99 a bottle.
