13 weeks post op

I am 13 weeks out from Lap-band surgery and loving it! I am down 33 lbs. This is not as fast as the RNY might have been but I am thrilled!!! I don't think I have ever lost 33 lbs that fast...well I have never lost 33 lbs, ever!

I have gone from a women's 22/24 pre op (down 52lbs since then) to a size 16 (misses) today. I even went to Bean's yesterday and could wear a even 16 there...I feel like a whole new person!!!

For years I could only buy shoes and socks at Bean's because everything else was too small...their plus size section in the store is a joke...(my opinion)

Anyway, I have been largly unable to post because my computer at work blocked me from logging in (maybe I was here too much??? ) So I miss posting here a lot of the time.

How is cinderella (yvonne?) I have been thinking of you and hoping your problems are resolving. Please let me know how you are.

And Summer- you look great!! I was so thrilled to see you last week. I can see the difference in you already...you will look in the mirror one day and be shocked that you couldn't see it the whole time.

Everyone here is doing so well!! It's great to see a group doing it right and seeing all the hard work pay dividends.

Wow, Sheli, your doing great!!   A size 16!!!  Awesome!   I'm still at a 18/20 but I'll take it, since it's down from a 26/28.   So you've reached my next goal.  How does it feel shopping in the Thin Side of the store?  LOL  I'm looking forward to it! My complications are finally resolving themselves.  Thank the Good Lord!  I was nearing the end of my sanity I think.  Anyway, I've been a week and a half with only vomiting once and that was because I ate too fast, so I'm doing much better in that area.  My throat is feeling better now too.   At my last endoscope the Dr. did say that my ulcer had gotten worse since the week before but I had been vomiting everything up, even water, so it was most likely the cause.  I'm still taking the stomach/ulcer meds and they seem to be helping now that they are staying down.   I'm still not getting in enough protein, but am working at it.  I hope I can fiugre out a way to do it soon , before I don't have any hair left.  It's been falling out like crazy!   All in all, I'm doing much better.  Your support and the support of all the other members here has been priceless!   It's been really helpful to me during this whole process!   I'm definitely keeping company with Angels here! Keep up the great work Sheli!   And show us pics of how awesome your looking in your new clothes!! Blessings, Yvonne

Yeah, I think it limits to 2 inches.  Now I can see it!! You are doing great!!
