I called on Thursday and was told that they were waiting for more information from the physician's office regarding appropriate codes.  I called Dr. Cobean's office and Bethany told me she had sent 26+ pages on Wednesday.  I think they may need to review more closely because mine is not a straight forward RNY, it is a revision from a previous surgery so there are additional criteria that have to be met to ensure that it was the surgery that failed and not me.  I am hoping to hear today, but if I don't I will make some more calls tomorrow.  Thanks for your concern and I will certainly post as soon as I have a definite answer.

This may sound like the answere is obviously in your statement.  My RNY was performed by Dr. Clough in Bangor and I would like a revision.  I think my pouch has stretched too much due to being under many different surgeons care and on my butt for almost two years straight with different surgeries.  Is there a place I can go to see what this revision is about.  I heard they go through your throat with a scope and just do a new zip line on your pouch.  Would you please tell me more?  thanks.  heidi cyr  surgery date was may 1, 2001.  I lost down to 140 and am now back up to 170 and being only 5ft tall it makes that weight show as double.  thanks
