Things to Eat
I know everyone is different and every surgery is different but I am still having troubles figuring out what to eat. I do not want to do anything to cause a problem so am sticking with Carnation instant breakfasts, water, jello mostly. I have to go to get something else in me. I did try some tuna last night although i fixed an 1/8 of a cup I ate only about half but I did good. (well I had gas and was up part of the night- but wasnt sick or hurting).
Can you guys give me examples of things you guys eat so I can try to broaden my horizon. Having troubles especially with breakfast.
Thanks so much!
Dr. Toder's meal plan is a little different, but I really liked Healthy Request Cream soups (strained of course). I had cream of mushroom and cream of tomatoe. I also did Unjury protein drinks and just plain milk sometimes. (Any milk products I added a couple of tablespoons of skim dry milk flakes to give me extra protein) I also like low sugar/fat free yogurt and Dannon Light and fit smoothies were great! It's all in the blue binder you should have gotten when going through Northeast sugeries program. I used it like a bible and still keep it with me now!
Hope that helps!

At that point, I was allowed anything I put through the blender. A couple of favs were refried beans with cheese, clam chowder and imitation crabmeat salad. I put em in the blender, and they were good. Also...(no blender needed...ricotta cheese with sugar free preserves. tastes like the inside of a crepe). Plain yogurt with sf preserves.
