11 Days And Scared!
Hi Netti,
No I didn't have an epideral. My surgeon, Dr. Trieu, does not do them unless he feels it's necessary. Each surgeon is different and has their own way of doing things. I didn't have any problems with the anesthesia, it was just the rest of things I had issues with.
It's good to think everything through Netti, but don't let your fears get out of control. Things will definitely be different post-op, but isn't that why we all take this path? I have to admit, since going through all the complications that I've had, I've second guessed myself to death after the fact, but I know it's going to get better and I'll be another person telling everyone how grateful I am to have had the surgery.
Those who have had the surgery with your doctor have first hand experience and can give you the best answers to the questions you have.
Keep the faith Netti!
Blessings, Yvonne
Yvonne,
Doesn't everyone have anesthesia? So why the epideral I wonder...
How are you doing now? I have read some about what you have been going thru and I feel for you. Would you mind telling me exactly what went wrong after the surgery to require you to have surgery again?
I wonder why you are having such a hard time eatting now. I hope they figure it out and you get well soon. You sound like such a nice caring lady I hate to think your going thru all this.
Take care of yourself - chat soon.
