First Time to Maine

Hope you all don't mind, but heading to Maine tomorrow for the first time and thougt I would seek out the experts and see if you could give me any advice on what to do and see, and eat up that way.  Staying in Bar Harbor Wed/Thur night.

Welcome to Maine!! Bar Harbor is just beautiful! Sorry, I posted this late but I hope you got in a Whale Watch. They are so much fun! 

A little late responding too.  I hope you are enjoying your stay here in Maine.  Bar Harbor is one of my favorite places.  I hope you got to explore all the great scenic spots in the Acadia National Park.  They're beautiful.  And of course, what would a review be without food?   We love going to the Route 66 in downtown area on a side street.  Awesome Lobster and you can have it already cracked and ready to eat!  Yum!   Let us know how your trip went.  Welcome to our great state of Maine!  I hope you'll come back again!  I grew up in Warren, Ohio but years ago, when we got out on our own after being in the military, we made Maine our home state.  No regrets!  Other than our daughter somehow met a guy from Ohio and now lives there with our beautiful granddaughter!  Guess it was the circle of life!   Blessings, Yvonne

Hey everybody - got back from Bar Ahrbor yesterday and had a great time.  Stayed at the Kingsleigh Inn one night and the Wonderview Inn another.  Both were really nice.  Thanks for the ideas.  No whale watch this time but did take a sunset cruise on the Margaret Todd and ate my fill of lobstah!!  :-)   Hoping to go back soon.
