Patients of Cobean and Wolff

Is there any one else having problems having a fill at Dr. Cobean and Wolff''s office. I was schedule for a fill on July 25 and they just called me on the 24th to tell me that they have to cancel my appointment because they have a shortage of needles. Is there any one else having this problem with them? They didn't even reschedule me because they are not sure when they will come in and asked if they could call when they do. Well I told them that I need some kind of notice I can not just leave my work on a spur of a notice. Sorry for venting I guess I am just frustrated with the office putting things off so often. Linda

They should be able to have needles shipped overnight or at least get them at a local pharmacy.  Sounds odd, but who knows??

I don't know if I could get in trouble for this, but Friday night when I was at Maine Med working in the OR I was stocking extras for Saturdays cases and looked at the supply shelf for the lapband system. I noticed that not only did they stock the two sizes of the lapband but they had the refill kits and two boxes of fill needles. I asked one of the other nurses why we had them here in the OR. I was wondering if we were doing the fills in our minor surgery room but she told me no. So I dont know why they are there.  I know you probably couldnt tell the office that the OR has them and they will believe you, but we do have them at MMC OR. Hope you get your fill soon, Cristy

Thanks  They called me Thursday for an appointment. I am going tomorrow morning for my first fill. I'll see what they have to say about cancelling all the other times. Linda

Well I'm probably late seeing this and you have been filled.  I was in on the 24th first thing for my fill and they had only 2 needles left.  Sharon had them overnighted and was praying they came in because she only had enough needles left for one more fill.   I'd say they should stock up but maybe they can't or something.  I don't know.  Sorry that happened to you.  I would have been angry!
