Just came home from Bangor and my 2 week followup with the NUT and Surgeon.  I am cleared to back to work with NO restrictions!!!!!!!!yay!!!!!!!!!  I also have lost 18 pounds, FOREVER.  This surgery is a miracle and I am so lucky to have been able to have it. Now, my physical activity can include more than walking!!!!!!!!  I want to swim, andnow I can. I have also been moved from liquids to high protein soft diet.  A lot more choice in my food intake. Just thought I would share. Maryellen

Maryellen! That is awesome!  take it slow on the soft foods!  My doctor wants me on the blended diet until I see them on 6/30.  I have tried some soft foods anyway, despite their advise and I have thrown up a couple of times. Chew Chew Chew!!  Thanks for sharing!
