Looking for support

Hello all, I am a RYN from Mass. and have a very dear and good friend who had the surgery in Mass with the same group as me, but lives 90% of the time in Maine. We have a great support group down here and I believe very strongly in getting support. My DF had a lap band done and needs to go to support and find friends up that way. She lives west of Old Orchard and can travel around. Is there anything at Maine Medical or in that area? Thanks in advance d

Hi Donna,  Your friend is also welcome to join us at the Support Group meetings at the  MMC Research Center on Rte 1 in Scarborough.  There is a meeting every 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month.  I believe you can also get directions from www.cascobaysurgery.com.  I am pretty sure there is no registration required for that one.
