I had my first check-up today and was told Dr Wolff had a baby girl.  They don't have a name picked out yet...but they have decided not to go with their first daughter's suggestion of rhinoceros!  I didn't ask for details.  Didn't feel comfortable, but I do know the family is doing well!

Hi Jeannie, Thanks for the update. We missed each other today!  I was also in the office around 11am. I had the nurse check my lungs and my wounds.  I had heavy feeling on my chest last night and also 2 of the incisions are red. But both are fine. Better safe than sorry!  I also got a scolding from Dr Cobean for having those 3 bites of chicken. He says that is way too soon!!  In the first month you could easily get a leak and now is the time to let the pouch heal. Sticking to my liquid/blended diet...blech!!

Hey there. So glad you're ok.  You're right...better safe than sorry, and I'm glad you got things checked out.  When I saw the nut yesterday, she went over the 2nd month diet, and was talking about what was/was not considered soft foods.  She said fish is ok, but chicken is too hard.  That surprised me for the second month...so I can see Dr Cobean not wanting you to attempt it in the first month.  Glad no damage was done! Have a super day! Oh...my samples came from vitalady yesterday.  The nectar apple is pretty good.  It has the protein smell, but I didn't think it really had a protein taste.  I also got some isopure samples I'm going to try today.
