Thank you all for your support!!!

It was great to come in tonight and see that others can understand that surgery is exciting.

Allicca- Congrats on selling your house...29 days will fly by, be careful of your back when moving those boxes.

I figure the 4-7 weeks on best guesses...
1-2 weeks for 1st trainer visit
1 week later for 2nd trainer and surgeon (same week)
1-2 weeks to get surgery date after final physical
1-2 weeks to surgery after getting date (this one could be the most wrong...)

this is best guess-ing, based on a questions over the past months of appointments. I will be able to give you a better timeline when I'm done.

That's awesome Sheli!!! I'm sure you've been bouncing off the walls since you got the news!  LOL    Dianne said at the Support Group Meeting tonight that the average timeframe from Approval to Surgery is about 6-8 weeks, so your on target.     Do you have your appointments with Nate & Dr. Trieu yet?  You'll also want to check with Lori about scheduling your Pre-Op tests....they take awhile to get scheduled.  Mine are scheduled for the 23rd.   Congratulations!!  Sounds like we'll be racing to the OR! LOL  Blessings, Yvonne

Thanks Yvonne! I thought my time frame was close, I didn't really expect the 4 weeks, but 7 would work well for me.

I do not have my appointments scheduled yet, the office needs to get my insurance approval on paper, right now it is just verbal (I just HAD to call!)

When do they schedule the pre-op tests? Will they send out the request when I make my other appointments or will I have to wait until I see Dr. Trieu again?

I am trying to be done with surgery by August 20th because I am off of work for the summer and have to go back the 29th. It would be great to go back all banded and not have to miss work days for the surgery.
