Okay everyone, I've done my searching and I've gotten a shopping list together for things that should help me on my weight loss journey.  I'd love to know if you have purchased any of these things, and what your opinion is.....Is it worth the money?  Has it helped you?  etc....  Or is there some other tool you've found that has helped you on your journey?  Please share.  TIA   Blessings, Yvonne SHOPPING LIST OH Magazine WLS Lifestyles Magazine Weigh2Win Exercise Video - Bariatric Workout The Success Habits of Weight Loss Surgery Patients Book/Workbook/Tracker Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery Cookbook Cookin for Weight Loss Surgery Patients Cookbook Body Minder Journal (Workout & Exercise Journal) by MemoryMinder Diet Minder Journal (Personal Food & Fitness Journal) by MemoryMinder FitBALL Exercise Ball FitBALL All Around Workout - Beginners (DVD) FitBALL Mat  23x49 FitBALL FreeBalls  40mm - 70mm 1 oz. Yvonne, If you don't already have one.  Add the Magic Bullet blender to your list!! It is the best thing I have ever bought from a TV infomercial.  But they sell them now at Target, Kohls, Walmart etc.

You go girl!   I bought a  stickblender so I can blend protein shakes in a glass.  It's not for ones with ice, but it works great to blend in the protein powder.  I can't stomach it if there are lumps.  It's a lot easier than using the blender everytime.  I bought a small blender...it isn't great.  I'm going to go get a magic bullet like Kathi recommended.

Yvonne, I'm 10 months, almost 11 months post op and I've been at my goal weight for over a month now. The only things on your list that I've bought are: - New Balance Sneakers (which I love) - The measuring cups (still use) - The baby fork & spoon (don't use anymore) - Weight & body fat scales (don't use as much as I use to  lol I use to weigh myself everyday) Things that I bought that aren't on your list are. - A good exercise bike (It's in my bedroom infront of the TV, I ride 7 to 15 miles while I watch the evening news and it was easier on my legs than a treadmill when I was heavier and I still use it 3-4 times a week now) - My own baby plates & bowls (I still use them everyday)  - 32 oz water bottles with the oz's written on the outside that are easy to read. (still use these) - Extra pillows for my bed for right after surgery when I couldn't sleep on my side or tummy. (still use these, but not on my bed anymore) I didn't buy any books or cookbooks on WLS because I have the internet and can find what I want here for free. Hope this helps, ~dori~

Thanks for your suggestions everyone!  I really appreciate it.  I spent part of today looking for an Exercise Ball closer to home than online.....what a mixture of info each manufacturer has!   Just trying to get the right size was confusing....some say a 55cm ball is for people 5'10" & up and some say the same size ball is for 5' to 5'6".....????   I have an appt. with the Personal Trainer next week, so I think I'll see what he suggests.  I'd love to hear more opinions and suggestions!  Thanks again for the suggestions already posted....my list just got longer!  LOL  Blessings, Yvonne

If  your in augusta anyway stop into TJ Maxx. They had a whole bunch of exercise balls this past weekend that were very inexpensive.
