tonights bariatric meeting

Hi, I am so glad you all mentioned the meetings. I moved back to Maine in Jan. but have not been to a meeting since before my surgery(moved 2 months after surgery)--you all sound very nice and I look forward to going to the meeting on the 18th----I need the meetings---they are so helpful--- Thanks again,       April

Hi April, Welcome back to Maine! Do you know where the new Bariatric Center is? The behavorial/emotional meetings are the 3rd Monday at 5:00pm for post ops that are 3 months or more out. They are always at the Bariatric Center. The regular group meetings for anyone are the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 6:30 at the MMC Research building on Rt 1 in Scarbrough. If you need directions I can give you the new phone number to the Bariatric Center and you can call them to get directions. I hope to see you at a meeting. ~dori~

Thanks Dori,          I love it back here----I think I remember where the center is---I am really glad they have the meetings on Mondays----I need them bad--even though I am post op for almost 3 years food is still a struggle------thanks again and hope to meet you at the meetings

April, The Bariatric Center has moved. They're no longer in Scarbrough on Spring Street. They're now in Portland on Andover Road behind Casco Bay Surgery. The new phone number to the center is 207-761-5612. Call them and they can give you directions and all the new support group times and dates. Look forward to seeing you at a meeting. ~dori~
