for all of those that go to maine bariatric support group

Hello i posted this on the maine bariatric site but I got no response so I thought I would post it here. Has anyone ever did a taste testing of differnt protein at the support meetings? I have thought about this before but wasn't sure who I would contact at the center to see if it was possible. I thought about contacting like bariatric edge I think that is the name anyway just differnt sites for samples free of course. I don't think everyone know what we are talking about when we talk about protein drinks I t wouldn't be hard to bring in calorie countdown milk that has peotein and I have differnt flavored powder ya bring some paper cups I could also post it on the differnt sites if there was anyone that has tried something that they wanted to share any way I just wanted to throw this out there and get some oppinions. tina

Wow that sounds like a good idea.. I have bought protein drinks from GNC- the fruit flavor made me gag.,Bariatriceating.com- I havent tried any yet going to wait until after surgery. I have got the Walmart brand of Whey. They say our taste buds change after surgery, But I cant bring myself to try any after the fruit punch one, until after I have the sugery and will have to drink them.

Tina, I ordered sample packets of unjury protein powders. They were not free, but it beats ordering 2 pound tubs and finding out you don't like the taste. I got them from bariatriceating.com. Rachel
