Waitng

hello everyone, I met with Dr.Cobean yesturday and signed my consent papers... then I was told it would be with in 6 to 8 weeks. I am getting really nervous and excited, I was hoping to have had this done sooner, but some how there was a mess up in the office with my paper work ...I started this all in the end of September. I am expecting my first grand son around the end of July and I am truely hoping this goes well and I am healed so I can be there to help my daughter out. Hopefully I will get the call sooner than later...fingers are crossed. Michele

HEy there. My surgery is scheduled right at 7 weeks since I signed my consent with the MMC group. I bet you'll be even faster...they had a mishap with my paperwork it seems. Maybe if you explain the situation with the upcoming birth they'll speed you along. Good luck! Jeannie

Did you ask to go on the cancelation list? I had mine done 3wks after I signed consent so there is hope. keep your fingers crossed. tina

I didn't even think of asking to be put on the cancelation list... I will call on Monday and see if at all possible they would do that for me as well... don't worry my fingers are crossed and then some. thanks michele

Just a tip... keep after the secretary about your date. I wouldn't wait more than a week before calling about it. I know more than one person who got the ball dropped right after signing consent and it's always someone leaving the paperwork sitting there doing nothing about it. I was one of them. Just keep nicely reminding them that you are WAITING! Good luck to you!!!
