received my date Yeah!!!

I have Dr. Wolff I just received my surgery date in the mail for May 22, my only problem is it still says pending insurance approval, anyone know what that means???? Why would they give me a date and not know if it will go through? Does anyone know?? Thanks Linda

Linda, Congrats on your date. Only 3 weeks. It will go by quicker than you think. The letter I received with my date for surgery said the same thing. Not sure why it says that. You should also receive a letter from your insurance company stating that surgery has been approved. If you don't get one, give your insurance company a call and ask that you get something in writing. How is your dad coming along in the process? Has he gotten a date yet too? ~dori~

Thanks Dori, My dad is going to see Dr. Wolff on May 14 to sign his papers. We are hoping he gets his dates soon too. But too close to mine only because I need my mom to help me with my day care after surgery. and inbetween all that she is going for cateract surgery so its going to be very busy this month for all of us. I hope I heal real fast so I can do day care all by myself. I am so grateful that she is willing to help me. Thanks for all your support. i need to get to some of the meetings soon. Linda

yay for you!! I am going to EMMC and have Dr. Huang. I have my consult with him on May 10th and hopefully a date soon after that! CONGRATULATIONS..........hope everything keeps heading forward!!

Hello, Congratulations. I too have Dr. Wolff. Would you mind at all telling me how long you have been in the program? I have been getting the screws put to my surgery date by that girl Cheryl in Dr. Wolff's office and I'm just curious to know. When did you sign your consent. Hi Heather, I started going to Dr. Wolff in January. April 2 I signed my consent form with her and just last week I received my dates for pre-admission testing and surgery date. Linda
