Hello!! Congrats on your date!! You must be getting excited. I am seeing Dr Wolff also, but I'm having the RNY. I had my second appt last Monday, so I'm anxiously awaiting insurance approval and a date. Best wishes! Jeannie

Congrats on your date!! I had Dr. Wolff 2 1/2 years ago but had the RNY. She did a great job and has a wonderful bedside manner. Good Luck

Hello... I too have Dr. Wolff. Would you mind telling me when you signed consent? I am having a heck of a time with the girl that schedules surgeries. I should have had my date in May and now they are telling me July which I cannot do. It has nothing to do with my insurance either. It's the girl in Dr. Wolff's office who dropped the ball after I signed consent.

Hello Heather, Oh yes, that would be Cheryl in Dr. Wolff's office. I have had one SNAFU after another with this office employee. In fact, I was given a surgery date of May 2nd, but because of paperwork sitting on her desk for 2 weeks, they had to reschedule my surgery date because Cheryl did not do what she was supposed to do. In fact, this morning, I received my paperwork re: PreOp testing and surgery date - however, it had the wrong surgery date - It had someone else's name on it! And it was sent to my husband's employer's office, not my home. I have made numerous phone calls to Elaine (office manager) to complain about how things have been handled. After my surgery, I will file a complaint to the hospital and to DRs Cobean and Wolf. They need to know how incompetent Cheryl is. I actually signed my consent during my second visit with Dr. Wolff. I could go on and on about the difficulty I have had with Cheryl -- don't get me started... Best of luck to you. I have worked as an RN for 27 yrs. and I am confident of the surgeons' skills, but the office staff - it's pretty bad. Rachel

Great. Well at least now I know it isn't just me that noticed this girls apparent rudeness. Can you believe this? She tells me (after I waited the 3 weeks before bugging anyone about where my date was) that she didn't have ANY of my paperwork from the clinic. She said she was waiting for that... I asked how long she was going to wait for it... She had no answer.... She never intended to call and get what she needed either. What DOES she do all day? Look out the window? My file sat on her desk for 3 weeks? Unbelievable. Then I called Sharon who said she did get it and faxed it again then Cheryl says to Sharon "Oh, I have everything but her insurance card". ????????? Why the heck didn't she tell me that? She's an idiot. Tell me she didn't have the info from the card plastered all over everything else in the file. Sharon suggested I write an email to Dr. Wolff which I did and she forwarded it to her as well as a hardcopy. But that was Monday and it got me nowhere. I have another message in to Sharon and am about to call her again. Then I suppose I better start calling the office manager. What is her name? I can't believe Dr. Wolff allows this to continue. After one patient she would have been fired if I were the doctor.

Hey Rachel! It only took me an EXTRA WEEK fussing with Cheryl. But I finally got a better date... May 30th!!! Whoo hoo. I probably better make sure Cheryl filed my insurance and all so nothing goes awry! Heheh. Anyway, I'm very excited!!!! FINALLY!
