Uh-Oh!!

The social worker at MMC had me journaling food after my first appt. I had to see her again a week or so later. She saw my journal and asked me to fax another week's journal a week later. She left me a message saying I did fine. I saw that as final, and haven't been journaling since. Just donned on me she may ask me about the journal when I see her again. I understand they drop you if you come in with a hair out of place, and now I'm worried I might have really messed up. Did anyone else have to journal, and if so, did you do it forever, or just for a couple of weeks? Thanks! Jeannie

I have Dr. Wolff - the social worker wanted me to journal after our very first visit then I had to bring it in an week or so after, then she wanted me to journal for another week and mail it to her.She told me that if I didn't hear from her that I would be fine. I just went Monday 4-2-07 for my team meeting with the dietitian , the social worker and the doctor. I am all set for my operation just have to wait for the insurance to approve. I was told that the Dr. is only in on Mondays to sign the consent form. My dad went last Tuesday and he has to go back in May to see the Dr. to sign his consent form. I was lucky my appoitment was on a Monday. Lets hope the insurance doesn't take too long. Linda

I had to journal for six months for insurance purposes. It was not easy but i did the best i could. If I missed a day or two it was no big deal.
