How long until a surgery date

Ok I know that this is loaded question before i even begin..lol But how long after your surgeon visit do you actually get the surgery? say you are reasonable sure that your insurance is good at approvals and with in 2-3 wks you get an approval. Then what should you expect how soon any one that has had it in Bangor have a clue or want to share thier experience?

Hello, I'm from Bangor. I'm sorry I can't answer your question but was just curious are you having bypass or LAP. I am having the LAP done by Dr. Toder. I was also wondering how long it would take to get my surgery date. I haven't even met with her yet I have finished all my appointments other than my psych eval. Hopefully you won't have to wait much longer to find out. I believe at my last dietitian appt. with Dayna E. she told me that it could take up to 4 weeks after meeting with Dr. Toder but that is with LAP Band. -Deanna
