I am home

Wanted to let you know I am home from hospital. (got home yesterday afternoon) Very sore and tired. Dr. Toder said everything went well. My stomach is full of bruises, she said it was because I am so fair skinned. and I am bruised inside also. I had Lap, there was no need for open, so I am glad that part worked out I am just glad it's over and I can start healing. I have to get off here now, need to go lay down. ~~Diane

Hi DIane, Congrads on the start of your new life. I'm glad to hear your home so soon I have surgery tomorrow and wasn't planning on coming home till Friday guess I better line somebody up for thursday as well. Best Wishes here's to healing fast toasting you a protein shake. Jules

Hi Julie: Thanks for the good wishes. Today is Wed, 6 days post op and just now feeling like I may survive. Just remember, everyday will get better! I didn't think so at the time, but it does. Hope things went well, and I know how hard it is to get the liquids in, but even a little medicine cup of water every 20-40 mins is better than none. And try your best so you don't get dehydrated. I was about on my way back to hospital because of this...but I forced myself to get more liguids in and I am doing better. Oh, if you get tired of jus****er, invest in the Popsicles that are sugar free, they are rea-l-l-l-y good! I ate 6 in 3 hrs today! Hey, it got the liguid in more, LOL So my thoughts are with you and I hope you have a speedy recovery! Let's clap for another champ on the loosing side! Take care, Diane
