First appt coming with Dr Wolff

I got a package today from the surgeon's office! I have a date for a first appt!! It's Feb 5. Bummed it's so far away, but SO glad to finally have it! It's with Dr Wolf, instead of Dr Cobean. No biggie...don't know either of them anyway. If anyone has any advice, I'm all ears! Jeannie

Hi Jeannie, I had my first appt July 30, 06. I finally got my surgery date for 2-27-07. Their office is very thorough, although it seems like you are waiting forever! So just know it can take several months, and keep on trying. Dr Wolff is nice, a very plain matter of fact spoken Dr, she takes no chances. The whole team makes sure you are ready for surgery, that's what takes so long. I'm on the pre-op, and by now you've had your first meeting. Have you gone to any group meetings yet? Jan G
