Hernia's from laproscopic surgery

Hi, I was wondering if anyone out their is having problems with hernia's from their incision sites. I have not had lapband surgery yet, but did have my gall bladder removed. I ended up with a umbilical hernia about the size of a grapefruit which I just had repaired this past May.. This past weekend I started with terrible pain in my upper abdomen and ended up with another hernia from my inciision site. Now I am very nervous about having lapband surgery. Has this happened to anyone else??? thanks -Denise
