Hi Everyone, I just thought I'd stop in and let everyone know I'm doing great. I'm tolerating the foods on my list that I've tried so far, getting my fluids and walking about 1/2 mile a day right now. Each day gets better and I have no regrets that I did this. How are all of you doing? Ann

Hi Ann, I'm 8 days out also. I'm doing really well with no regrets. There have been a few bumps in the road, but nothing major. Today I went from clear liquids to "full" liquids - basically I can add yogurt and creamy soups. This goes for 3 weeks before I can go to the "pureed" food stage. Baby steps. ;) Are you getting lots of liquid protien in? I'm really glad I ordered Unjury online as I absolutely can't "stomach" ensure or boost. Amy S

Hi Amy, I'm so glad to hear you're doing well minus the bumps. I was advanced to a soft high protein diet on day 3, so far I've had tuna, shrimp, yogurt, eggs, cheese, and a hamburger. there are a few more meats I haven't tried yet like chicken and ham and roast beef also on the list. I know........amazing the difference from one surgeon to another. I am mixing unflavored unjury with carnation instant breakfast made with skim milk twice a day to suppliment for more protein. I haven't had any problems so far. What flavors of unjury have you tried? Are you walking much? I'm averaging about 1/2 mile a day broken into 3 strolls. keep in touch. Ann

Glad to hear that your doing well. I have a job interview on Friday and am able to walk more. I'm working out at 15 min. on my bike. My knees are still giving me some trouble but I take my time. I'm so glad that I had this done. Keep in touch. I'm seeing the Dr. again on Monday and the dietician. Hopefully, I can go to the gym for free. I'm looking forward to that. Linda
