Things I Want

OK, I've been thinking about this. Everyone says to start a list of what you would like to be able to do after weight loss. Here are just a few (I plan to add on...) 1. Cross my legs - hey, don't we all right? And I want to be able to do it WITHOUT anchoring against the chair in front of me. 2. I want to go to a restaurant, have the hostess seat me and NOT have a panic attack when I find out there are only booths. 3. I want to exit said booth WITHOUT the use of butterand/or WD40 after eating. 4. While at this restaurant want to NOT be thinking that everyone there is looking at my plate and wondering "Is she REALLY going to eat all that?" 5. If I should want desert and ask for it to go, I would LOVE to claim it as my own and not "I promised my daughter I'd bring her home something" when my kids have been out of the house for 3 years. 6. I want to look straight to the floor when looking down and NOT have to manually pull my belly in to see my shoes. 5. I want to be able to pick something off the floor WITHOUT needing CPR and a respirator directly after. And last............ 6. I wanna go outside and play........... C/

Congratulations on your approval!! I love your list, I can relate to the restaurant scene. 1. To be able to play with my grandchildren, at their level. 2. To be able to go for a walk and not need medics to get me home again. 3. To be able to reach my toe nails without being a contortionist, to clip them. 4. To be able to buy bras that actually fit and not ones that fit one way and not another. 5. To be able to find clothes that fit instead of buying them from the tent maker. 6. To be able to go swimming and not just float on the surface and fight to be able to go underwater. 7. To be able to sit in a regular chair when I go visit with someone, instead of having to sit at the kitchen table. I loved your list so much, you are an inspiration for me to start my own. Thank-you and keep us posted. I had my surgery June 16 and have lost over 34 LB so far, I don't keep scales at home. But my clothes are getting looser. Whoooopie!!! Linda Estes, Bangor
