Hi everyone, I am glad to see the postings increasing. I have my last appointment with the dietitan tomorrow. My sleep study showed a very low oxygen level during the night. So I now am getting used to a new c-pap machine and have to have a second study done on the 23rd. I am hoping to get my surgery date in September. I hope we can all continue to post and support each other. Nobody knows what it is really like unless they have been there, Thanks Ps anyone out there post-op who was able to get rid of that damn c-pap machine ?? I hate it !!

Hi Maria- I am fortunate and don't have sleep apnea but I have read many a post on this site and it seems most people have been able to get rid of the c-pap machine after losing some weight. I am going to be vacationing in your area in a couple of weeks. We camp at Lobster Buoy Campground every summer. I love the coast of Maine and Thomaston is beautiful. I am scheduled for surgery on Sept. 11. It would be great if you had surgery around the same time. Good luck at your appt. tomorrow. Ronda

Hi Maria, I wanted to wish you the best of luck with your wls journey. I'm not sure about the c-pap, I don't use one and I'm still pre-op, my surgery is tomorrow. I have seen posts about people not needing it any longer but I think that's very individual. Take care. Ann
