Hi Richard, I'm glad to hear you're doing well. I have 9 days to go. I started feeling a cold coming on the other day but I've been taking airborne and it seems to be doing the trick. Please keep us updated how you're doing. sip, sip, sip. Do you get tired of sipping? Did you have any second thoughts before surgery like I'm having? I'm sure I'll go through with it, just can't help it. LOL take care. Ann

I never had any second thoughts. I was so excited to do it, I remember evryonr asking me are you nervous and I never really was. Ohh I sip all day long sip sip sip i always have a water bottle. Funny cause I got a cough the day before surgery i was coughing something aweful and thought it would delay the surgery, but when I got there in the morning they just took my temp and I had no fever so I was good to go. Although the day after surgery the cough came back and it does hurt to cough, I did learn however that if you have to cough cover your belly with a pillow and hold it tight to your belly when you cough, It wont hurt as much. Well Good luck in 9 days, I am sur all will be fine. Are you having laproscopic?? It worked out great for me.. Well that is it for now... Richard

I'll be having open, I don't think I want to be coughing too much except to expell the anesthesia. That's gonna hurt after they take out the epidural. did you have an epidural? I'm so glad to hear you're doing well, it makes me feel alot more comfortable. Ann
