Because I am just around 4 months out, I only weigh myself once a week. Otherwise, I'd go nuttier.
When I reach goal (I still don't what that will be), I will probably weigh myself once a day. That way, I can better plan what to (or not) eat.
Topic: RE: The Weekend Rain or no Rain?
I am sooooo sick of this rain. My ground is like mush.
But, it could be snow, then I'd really be upset.
Not much in the way of exercising - just a lot of walking.

Hi Emilia.
Welcome to the Maryland board.
You are really getting close to your surgery date. Before you know it, it will all be over. Then, the fun starts.
Also, it's normal to become scared, anxious, "why the hell am I doing this", etc. the closer you get to surgery.

How was the weekend? Did you finish with your packing? I wasn't able to walk much but I enjoyed the weekend just being home and preparing for the Fall.
Can you do me a favor can you please go to the post I posted last week about the newbies introducing themselves and welcome the newbie that just posted about getting her insurace approval.
Thanks!

Hi Emilia,
I am so glad you posted because at this stage of your journey it is very important to have support. I received great support from this board when it was very active. Right now it is a bit slow but we are working on getting it back to how it was before.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! on your approval. I know how exciting it is to finally get this stage but then freak out because everything is so real now. It is perfectly normal. You are going to do great and please stay in touch so that we can support you along the way.
I used to live in MD but we purchased a house in Charles Town, WV (by the charles town races & slots) we have been here for the last 3 years.
Congrats again!
Please feel free to ask any questions.
Take care
Cira

HI Everyone! Thanks for welcoming me to the family. My name is Emilia, I'm 25 & I live in Hyattsville Maryland. I received insurance approval, FINALLY! I am scheduled for RNY on October 7 and am extremely excited. I am starting to get inpatient and nervous which makes no sense since I have been waiting my entire life for this!
