John Hopkins offers a support group at Bayview, it is usually a good amount of people there. You can check online what day/times.

Joe: The surgery is a tool and I won't lie to you. There will be
hard days where you give into temptation and eat something or too much of something that will make you feel ill. I look at those times
as my body telling me you know better - My pouch still rules. I have just passed my 8th surgiversary and still I regret nothing .
I was talking to a friend just today who said my journey is an inspiration to others. I feel like I was reborn that day 8 years ago.

Stay away from it. Please read all of the side effects before trying this medicine. I have not had a positive experience using this--- I have experienced most of the major side effects from this med never had any trouble with B 12 injections prior.
Make sure your physician is checking your B12 levels instead of just thinking that you need iT. You may not need the extra b12.
Confidentiality is not seeing patients anymore. That is what I was told at st joe
Hi Jackie I had a band done at Saint Agnes And working on a sleeve at UUniversity of Maryland both doctors has clothing exchange programs for their patients. Ask your doctor maybe they might have one. It would be great if the SalvztinnArmy orGood Will would start a program like that. I think they would be perfect people because of the volume of clothes they handle
Maybe if you change your care first plan they will.Call up care first talk to them yourself ask for a case manager they will be of great help to you. I have care first as a secondary behind medicare and they told me they cover the surgery if medicare. I have been concerned because I am going from a band to a vertical sleeve. From what I understand the important thing you need is letters of medical necessity as many as you can get. Have them state all the serious medical problems you have and how serious your problems. Big thing is document everything get names of everyone you speak to and what they say. You can always file an appeal with care first one after the other if all else fails file a complaint with the insurance commissioner they are located on Saint Paul Street near Mercy Hospital Saratoga and saint Paul Street. Hi Darla My name is Joe I am just starting my journey going from a band to a vertical sleeve. .It's only beenn3 days since I seen the doctor and it seems like a long time..I have a question. You are 7 years out how has the hunger , the temptations and cravings been over the 7 years.. I don't fear the surgery orvpost op pain maybe the psy. Review but future hunger ,cravings ,and temptations. I know the surgery is only a tool I just trying to understand and get my head around the other stuff. Thank you. Joe
