Topic: RE: Sinai Bariatric
Hello
I saw Dr Long at Sinai for my second vist which was 2months from first visit...I had all my testing done and the 20 pounds weight loss that she required. I got my surgery date for gastric bypass for Sept. 11. So for me it was a total of 3 months.

I had my TT on 7/20, while it was approved early June. Insurance covered the TT portion. I had to pay $2500 for the muscle tightening. My physician/surgeon's rate for a TT w/ muscle tightening is $5700.
Topic: RE: Hopkins Bayview?
I went to Dr. Schweitzer at JH Bayview and it didn't take me long to get a date. Good Luck and Congrats!
Topic: RE: Anyone have surgery at St Agnes?
Hey! I had surgery in St Agnes by Dr. Charles Harrington. I think he has an office in Silver Spring, MD on Georgia, Ave. I went there once before I moved out of the state.
Topic: RE: Baltimoreans Unite!
There is now a google group for the Baltimore and nearby WLSers. If you go to this site and sign up, you'll get notices of get togethers.

I'm pre-op but I would love to host a WLS gathering at my studio this fall.

Dr. A was my surgeon. St. Agnes is an excellent hospital. I was given extremely good care.
Topic: RE: Workout Partner
If you go to LifeBridge - I'm a possibility! I am a member there, and I have a consultation with Dr. Mo in a couple of weeks (and with Dr. Kligman at UMMS). But if everything goes OK, I wouldn't be sleeved until Nov/Dec -- but I still need to be working out and I'd be on a preop diet!
I typically could go to the gym anytime after five. Or if you wanted to meet somewhere and walk that's outside, I'd load up the Mutt and we could walk! There's a dog park at Hanah More Park in Reisterstown, and I take the Mutt there sometimes anyway! So we could meet there to walk around the park!
Just let me know if it sounds like my schedule/location might work for you!

Topic: RE: contact info for Dr. Gary Harrington?
Just a quick follow-up for those of you who might be in the same boat. At the suggestion of my PCP, I am going to contact the hospital where my RNY surgery took place by Dr. Harrington and get a copy of the surgical notes/any records that they might have on file. Hopefully this will be enough to present to a new practice for continued followup and possible revision surgery.
