Here is a WLS friendly recipe for pumpkin muffins.  Enjoy!

PUMPKIN MUFFINS (Sugar Free/Low Fat)

1 cup Splenda

1/3 cup applesauce

3 tbs vegetable oil

2 eggs

1 cup pumpkin (canned)

1-1/2 cups of whole wheat flour

½ tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/3 cups water

½ cup chopped pecans or raisins

1 ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice

Cream together oil, applesauce and Splenda.  Add beaten eggs, pumpkin and water.  Mix well.  Sift together flour and other dry ingredients.  Add gradually to pumpkin mixture, blending well after each addition.  Stir in raisins or nuts.  Pour into muffin tins about 2/3 full.  Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

I used FMLA for my surgery.  I also was able to reapply when I had complications as long as my surgeon wrote in the application that it was specifically related to my original surgery.  I still had to use my leave at work, but when the complication**** they had to use my extended leave first and not touch my annual leave.  This was a big help.

I light up the world around me with a smile on my face. I glow with happiness from the inside out.
We all make choices in life. I am the sum total of my choices which make me who I am. I celebrate what it is that makes me unique and unrepeatable.

Please feel free to share your affirmations if you like.

Topic: Today is thankful and thoughtful Tuesday
Good morning everyone!

Just stopping by to say that, I am very thankful for everyone that has ever given me support. Whether you have been a part of my life or no longer are.

I have received wonderful support before my surgery, during and after. So I want to say thank you to everyone that has had an affect on my life.

Wishing all the new members all the best on your journey.

The best decision that I did was to have my RNY.  You can check my profile for before and after pics.  I haven't updated my profile in a long time but I will be soon. So please keep checking.

Take care!

Have a wonderful day on purpose!

7 p.m. would be fine with me. That would work great, actually, since my husband gets home about 6 usually, and that way he can stay home with our son and I can go sans child! lol

We could meet at Starbucks. It's right by an entrance so it's easy to find. It's by the entrance to the mall on the side with LL Bean if you are looking at the directory on the website.

Anyway, I could do Thursday or Friday or we could do next Monday if this week is busy. Friday evenings might be really crowded, though.
